Custom Bulk Bags (CBB) does not only manufacture bulk bags for various industries. We also produce Butterfly Pocket Files on behalf of our sister company, Empire, which forms part of the Deneb ownership network. We only use high-quality polyethylene (PE) to manufacture these plastic files, which are sold to stationers and office supply companies across South Africa.
There are three manufacturers of display files in the country, but Empire and CBB hold a large market share due to the quality of our materials and precision engineering at our manufacturing facility. Our close-knit partnership with Empire allows us to draw upon the strengths of both companies. We continuously assess and improve the technology used to manufacture these files, which allows the Butterfly brand to grow and evolve.
Butterfly Pocket File product range
The Butterfly logo has been redesigned and relaunched during the Covid-19 pandemic. Under its new guise, there are five pocket file products that are still colour coded according to the number of pages. This colour coordination has been a key selling point for Butterfly Pocket Files as it allows the consumer to easily pick out the necessary product on the shelf.

- Green – 30 pages
- Purple – 40 pages
- Orange – 50 pages
The pocket files are available in A2, A3, A4 or A5 sizes and are ideal for school projects, work organisation, CVs, artwork, presentations, recipes and photo storage. The pocket file books allow for easy storage and display of important documents or papers. The plastic sleeves that make up the files have anti-static properties that allow the user to easily flip through the book.

Offcuts and rejected files are recycled into new PE that is reused in the production process. The files are fully recyclable or reusable and we encourage consumers to support these environmental efforts.
